Contechify Consulting is a product of Contech Group, a registered business name of Blackbox Trading Pty Ltd. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Blackbox Trading Pty Ltd, which is the entity responsible for personal information collected through this website.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. Specifically:

• Enquiry form — your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Email correspondence — anything you send us directly.

We do not require you to create an account to use this website, and we do not collect payment details through it.

How we use it

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any consulting engagement you go on to agree with us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we rely on to operate this site. Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, which means your information may be handled overseas.

• Resend (United States) — delivers enquiry-form submissions to us by email.
• Cloudflare (global network) — hosts this website and routes traffic to it.

We do not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties, except where we are required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries reach us as email and are retained in our business email records for as long as we may need them for the purpose you contacted us about, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your light or dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and is never transmitted to us.

Accessing and correcting your information

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at andy@contechify.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at andy@contechify.com so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
